"911, what is your emergency?" Atherton police say a local father and important client did the right thing when he called in what turned out to be a full immobilized InSinkErator Pro. But once on the scene, the town's top cop said it became clear that the man wanted the unit to be fully replaced. "He says, 'you’re blue-collar and should know how to do this stuff,'" explained the APD chief. "That was all I needed to hear." During the install, the rest of the squad fanned out to tackle other household tasks, but the homeowner told them to stand down. "You guys work hard and should relax after you take out the recycling," he said.
